In Search of Simple Living
Simple Living is my direction. It is a place, spiritually-speaking,
that I desire to go to. It is a movement among many Americans who simply
want more time to appreciate that which they feel is most important -
famiily, friends, community, nature, and just life in general - without
the constant stresses of what we call "modern society." Simple Living
does not mean you ignore the finer things in life, or cast-off comfort
- it simply says find the options that work for you and give you time
to enjoy that which you work hard for - those you love and the things
you love. It's also okay to "unplug". This page is just simply my virtual
home.
Dedicated to my mom, Elois Hamilton, founding President of the Prince
George's County Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Council,
and Student Assistance Project, Inc., a youth advocacy agency that she
established and ran for many years.
